House of Cards Guest Designing

How cool is this?  I'm the Guest Designer over at The House of Cards this month!
I'm so honored Mynnette & the crew asked me! :)

The challenge this month is to Add a Button. I created a Cute style Easter card using the White Wash technique on my eggs.  It's a pretty simple technique - emboss your image in White, use an Aqua Painter or waterbrush to color in the image with white ink.  Let it dry.  Then color over the white with a blender pen and ink.

I think buttons are fun but sometimes they need a little shimmer!  The easiest way for me is to emboss them with a little Stardust Embossing Powder.  Press the button into Versamark then drop it into your powder.  Blast it with a heat gun & let it cool a second.

Come join us at The House of Cards!

Supplies:
SU! Ink: Calypso Coral, Melon Mambo, Daffodil Delight, Bermuda Bay
SU! Cardstock: Wild Wasabi, Whisper White
Accessories: Stampendous Stardust Embossing Powder, Whisper White organza ribbon, button, Early Espresso Baker's Twine

Have a fab day!
Julz :)

Very cute card! Love the white wash technique you used and how you embossed the button! I would have never thought of that but must try!
