The Bold & the Butterflies

CAS-ual Fridays has a great challenge this week called The Bold & The Beautiful!  Using black & pastels, create your CAS (Clean & Simple) project.  This is also a perfect fit for the HandStamped Sentiments Technique Challenge of Watercoloring.

Using my Watercolor crayons, I brushed a whole bunch of colors on scrap cardstock, washed over them with a watercolor brush, then ran them through my Big Shot to create these pastel butterflies. They pick up the colors from the flowers inside the sentiment.

Supplies: All Stampin' Up!
Cardstock: Basic Black, Confetti White
Ink: Basic Black
Stamp: Apothecary Art
Accessories: Big Shot, Beautiful Wings Die, Watercolor Brush, White Organza Ribbon, Framelits

Have a fab day!

What a great idea with the watercolor crayons. I'll admit I bought them and they are still in the wrapper years later. I like the idea, though, of just randomly coloring and painting over it to make my own paper. NICE!! Thanks for joining us at HSS!! By the way, love your title. Hee hee!
