"OVER THE TOP" Christmas Shop Stamp Camp

"OVER THE TOP" Christmas Shop Stamp Camp
Spend the morning or evening making some fabulous holiday gifts!

Friday, November 19, 2010
10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
6 p.m. - 10 p.m.
My house in Flovilla

Projects: You will be making FIVE amazing projects that can be given as holiday gifts! This is definitely "OVER THE TOP" and more than our average Stamp Camp.

Fee: $29 per person; MUST be paid in advance to hold your seat. Only have 8 SEATS available for each class and because there is a lot of work involved in preparing these projects, I must have RSVP and payment in advance. Thank you for understanding.

Bring: Your own bone folder, tape runner adhesive and scissors. Also, bring your digital camera to take pictures of all the other ideas I'll have on display. I'll also have an ordering special that night if you want to do some extra holiday shopping.

What else? We'll definitely be working hard, BUT you won't be alone - I'll be there to help you step-by-step. And the payoff is you'll go home with some amazing gifts! If you can't arrive as soon as it starts, don't worry - this is a "work at your own pace" event, and you'll have plenty of time to get the projects done. Feel free to "e" if you have more questions!

And for those of you who can't make it or don't live in GA, I CAN do a "kit by mail". Just email me back for more info.

HURRY - You MUST RSVP BY NOVEMBER 5 and pay in advance to guarantee your seat.
Only 8 spots available for each class - invite your girlfriends to come with you for a fun night out!
Have a fab day!

Coffee Cozies

I finished them! YAY! I was super excited and very pleased that not only were these simple to make but super easy to sew, too (if you decide to sew them)! :p
The first one I sewed Rick Rack onto the Fleece and then added the small flowers with Hemp Twine tied on the buttons. The side is also stitched together so you just slip the cozy onto the cup.
The second one I opted to not sew up the side and instead use Velcro on the sides to make it adjustable. I sewed on the flowers though and added Hemp Twine to the buttons.

Fleece - Chocolate, Sky Blue (which totally matched the Tempting Turquoise Buttons in the SU! Brights Collection), Pink, & Neon Green (which totally matched the Old Olive Buttons in the SU! Brights Collection), Stampin' Up Hemp Twine
Accessories: White Rick Rack, Stampin' Up Brights Designer Buttons, Non-SU Buttons
Tools: Stampin' Up Big Shot, Stampin' Up Big Shot Bigz Die in Island Floral, Sewing Machine, pins, chalk, Velcro

More to come.....

I just wanted to give you a little glimpse of what is to come in a few days! I started a coffee cozy this morning but haven't been able to finish it yet. The flowers were cut with my Big Shot using the Island Flowers die. It's sitting next to the sewing machine just waiting for me to stitch it up. :p I apologize that my pic is upside down. For some reason, Blogger likes it that way! ;)

Just for You!

Stampin' Celebration put together a great spooky challenge this week! However, I didn't order any Halloween Stamps from Stampin' Up! YIKES! I KNOW! What was I thinking?!?! ;) So instead, I've used this great color palate to create a little card for my MIL. Her birthday's coming up soon and this card will totally go along with the gift we've gotten for her!

I didn't have any colored ribbon handy so I decided to ink up the Whisper White Silk Ribbon in Pumpkin Pie.

Supplies from Stampin' Up:
Cardstock: Rich Razzleberry, Pumpkin Pie, Daffodil Delight
Designer Paper: Patterns Paper Stack Brights Collection
Ink: Versamark, Old Olive
Stamps: Afterthoughts Set
Accessories: Big Shot, Sissix Bigz Island Floral, Textured Impressions Elegant Lines, Silver brads, Ornament Punch, Whisper White Silk Ribbon, Dimensionals, Redliner tape, Iridescent Ice Embossing Powder

Elegant Lines

Well howdy! Been awhile since I've regularly posted. For the past month and a half, I've been helping my FIL and spent most of the time at the hospital or doctor's appointments in between work. But today, I'm back and I'll do my best to post regularly again now that things have slowed down somewhat.

My Big Shot came in today! YAY! :p I've been waiting very (im)patiently for it to arrive so I'm very excited that it's finally here! Isn't the texture on this card just yummy?!?! I love it!

I've combined three challenges today:

Supplies: All Stampin' Up
Cardstock: Pear Pizzazz
Ink: Whisper White, Chocolate Chip
Stamps: Afterthoughts Set
Accessories: Big Shot, Textured Impressions Elegant Lines, Whisper White 1/8" inch Taffeta Ribbon
