Getting Inky w/It!

Our team, Getting Inky w/It, has completed all our projects for the Paperworks Co Ultimate Summer Challenge! :p I must say we did a fantastic job! LOL Wanna see???

First up was Sally Kendall & the sketch challenge.
I was up next with the Color Combo Challenge of Red, Green, Blue, & Yellow. I created this cute little bag for tea & a square spring card with a removable bookmark using a digi stamp! Check here for more details!
Christine Hyde was ready for the Inspiration Challenge. She made this fabulous boo-boo kit for her son. He hates wearing shorts because he falls all the time and his knees hurt. He can now carry this in his backpack to daycare. Shorts are a must, it's 34 degrees in the shade right now! Don't you just love useful projects! There are two pockets on the inside. The first pocket has the bandaids (also known as plasters) and the envelope behind it has the antiseptic wipes. The image on the outside is raised on scrap ez-mount leftovers. I just tuck the flap behind the image and the whole thing stays closed.
Wendy Visser had to make her own animal inspired background paper for the Technique Challenge. She started with grungepaper. After embossing it with one of Tim Holtz’ folders, Wendy painted it with the stream paint dabber. Using the sandpaper, she removed the raised areas of the embossing & used the ink applicator tool to add the black soot distress ink onto the raised areas. She used a papertowel with a bit of water to remove the extra distress ink as the paint dabber resists the distress ink. Wendy covered the entire sheet with picket fence distress stickles & heated it to dry. The image is coloured with copics. Super cute, huh?
In a few days, the voting will begin! Be sure to check back for details on how and where to go to vote for Team Getting Inky w/It!
Have a fab day!
