Surprise Pop-up Card

I've been wanting to make a Surprise Pop-up card for the longest time but never seemed to find the time to create one. For some reason, I thought it would be this huge drawn out process. Boy, was I super wrong! :P This is easy-peasy! Splitcoaststampers has a geat tutorial!

Here's it is popped up!
Easy Craft Projects is hosting a challenge that focuses on Summer. When I think of summer, I think of the sun and I just love this cute sun image from See-D's! I inked it up in orange and then gently laid a red ink pad overtop to get a multi-colored effect. Then I heat embossed both the sentiment and the image with sparkle embossing powder.
Supplies:
Cardstock: The Paper Studio
Ink: Studio G Ink Spot in Orange, SU! Riding Hood Red
Stamps: See D's Doodlin' Away
Accessories: Ribbon Boutique Ribbon, eyelet, Sparkle Embossing powder, corner punch
On a side note: I'm an aunt again! WOOHOO! Little Lucas was born yesterday and both he and mommy are doing well! :P

Have a fab day!
Julz :P
