Accordian Fold Card

The latest Cuttlebug Challenge is for the Accordian Fold Card. I was unable to see the video so I kinda guessed at the dimensions. My card is 4.25 x 11 and I scored at 4", 6", 9", & 1.5". The flowers and sentiment are all heat embossed. I think I'll give this to my friend Bev for her birthday!

Flower Power Desk Set

Welcome to Friday's Be Inspired #46 Cuttlebug Challenge! For this challenge, we were to create a desk set for a student. I thought this Flower Power set was perfect!

I took out the sprial and then glued my cardstock to the cover of this notepad. After punching the holes, I then put it all together and added the sprial back! The flowers and sentiment are embossed w/star sparkle embossing powder. I tired out Lisa Johnson's Ruffled Ribbon Trim Technique as well and it added a cute touch!

Here's a cute pencil holder! The acetate was actually embossed as well! You have to be careful b/c the heatgun can warp the acetate if it gets too hot. I went w/more of a clear flower here so the student could locate what she needed easily!

And of course, we need a cute photo holder for our pictures!

Wedding Butterfly Boxes

These adorable little boxes were made for my SIL-to-be's Bridal Shower. I printed and cut out the templates on white and black cardstock. I found half pearls to embellish along w/punched butterflies and bowes. My mom had these great little silk roses that were the perfect touch to the "bride" box. My SIL-to-be loved them so much, she kept some to use at the wedding.

Clean & Simple Hi!

I made this easy, breezy clean and simple card with a little designer paper, a large jeweled brad, and some chipboard letters. The letters were sponged w/Brillance Moonlight White and then embossed with white sparkle embossing powder.

Buckle & Pocket Card Swaps

Every so often I like to participate in swaps. I did a double swap this time for the two cards below.

Pocket Card - I found this great coordinating designer paper set at Michaels that perfectly matched the stamp set.

Big Buckle Card - I kinda changed this up a bit. The hole for the buckle was supposed to be made w/a Word Punch that I didn't have. I started thinking of other punches that I could use instead and I decided on the star punch. I really love the colors and the way this turned out!

Hey Sweetie Pie!

I participated in the Cuttlebug Challenge Blog challenge of this week for the first time ever! Mel had this great pie card that was absolutely too cool! I just had to make one too!

I decided to go with blueberry. The blueberries on top are buttons that I "faux threaded" w/matching cardstock. The crust was sponged lightly w/brown and gold inks then covered w/Paper Glaze. While wet, I added this chunky glitter that looks like sugar to give it a sugar crusted look. I just love how it turned out! I'm not sure I can bring myself to send this yet! LOL

Baby Buggy Card

I saw this card and had to make one of my own! This is so cute!

Photo Holders

These cute little photo holders are so quick and easy to make out of binder clips! Plus binder clips come in a variety of sizes so you can range from big to small.

Easily create your own by taking the binder clip of your choice (here I used a 2 inch binder clip), and wrapping a piece of designer paper under the lip on one side to the other side. The slip of paper is 3 1/4" x 2 ". Using the glue of your choice (gluestick here), mold the paper to the bunder clip. Decorate with your embellishments of choice and voila! This takes seconds and so easy to create in batches!

Makes a great gift for someone special! The ones below were made for my friend Tracie along w/the Box in a Bag which was the perfect size to hold them!
